Day Eighty-one - Brendan & Gina, Plus One!!!

Today I had the opportunity to do a maternity session for Gina and Brendan!  I'm going to be a little picture happy tonight, because these two are just too cute!! Thank you guys for letting me take these photos for you - I had a great time!!

Day Eighty - Snuggles with Daddy

Someone was very grumpy after her nap, so Justin took her into our bed for some cuddle time! Of course I ran and got my camera, but not before I got in on the snuggles, myself!

Day Seventy-nine - Date Night

Last night was date night!  We ate a wonderful dinner at Texas de Brazil, where we both ate WAY too much, so we had to walk it off by taking a lap around the mall.  Then we went for dessert at Gelati Celesti.  Yum!! Then we grabbed a movie at the RedBox.  Perfect evening in my book! Oh and I got to wear my heels, which haven't seen the light of day in a long time :)

Day Seventy-eight - Bright Eyes

I don't have too much to say about this one.  We were just outside playing and I got this shot, which I love!

Day Seventy-seven - Organized

Tonight was all about getting organized.  Briana's playroom was a disaster after her birthday, with all the new toys she got, so I did what anyone would do.  I went to Target, bought a really cute cabinet and some colorful bins so I could organize all of her new toys into categories :)  As soon as I figure out a fun way to label the bins, we will be in good shape!!

Day Seventy-six - Temporarily Uninspired

Yesterday was a tough day for my little picture project.  I just wasn't able to find anything interesting enough to take a picture of.  I really hate those days, but I did get a goofy picture of Titan, waiting patiently to be let back inside. 

I couldn't let my lack of inspiration make me skip a day, so this is better than nothing. Right?

Day Seventy-five - Why Helloooo, Fifty!

No, ladies. This post has nothing to do with Mr. Christian Grey.  Tonight I was reacquainted with my 50mm!  Big let down, I know, I'm sorry!

But...Elmo is cute! Right?! :)

Day Seventy-four - Day Old Balloons

Balloons are great the day of the party, but they are soooo much more fun the day after!!  I guess the party is really over this time. 

Day Seventy-three - Birthday Party!!

Yesterday we celebrated Briana's 2nd birthday! I can't believe she's really two, already! I think the party went well and I know Briana had a blast!  Thanks to everyone who came to help celebrate!!

Tomorrow is Briana's 2nd birthday party, so I've spent the night cleaning and getting some decorations up!  I don't want to give any of the real decorations away, so this is as much as you get!

Day Seventy - Shish Kabobs

Admittedly, this isn't the most exciting post, but I really like saying "Shish Kabob" and that is what we had tonight for dinner!!

Day Sixty-nine - Christmas...Kinda...

I felt like a kid on Christmas when I got our mail today!  I saw this when I opened the mailbox! Anyone notice anything yet...look a little closer...

Yes!! This USPS package is addressed to Jamie Borel Photography!! How cool is that?!?  Yeah - it's the small things that bring me joy, I suppose ;)

Day Sixty-eight - A Girl and Her Balloon

You can take the girl out of the party, but you can't take the party out of the girl!  She was not letting this balloon out of her grips tonight -haha!  

Day Sixty-Seven - More Birthdays!!

Each year, mid-September is Birthday season in our house.  Well today was finally my turn to celebrate 28! We collected a bunch of cards over the last week and this is all that remains of the birthday celebrations.  Well - until next weekend when we have Briana's official birthday party ;)

Day Sixty-Six - The Robinsons

Today, Briana and I got to run around Maymont Park with Kaleb and his Mommy and Daddy!  I have to say that bringing a two year old along for a photo session, adds a whole other angle to the mix!  We all had fun though, and who can resist these cheeks?!?  What a handsome little man! :)

Day Sixty-five - Happy Birthday, Briana!!

One day late in posting...again :)

Yesterday was Briana's 2nd Birthday!! I can't believe how fast it is all going by.  While I wish I could hold her tight and keep her little forever, I know that isn't possible so I just sit back and try to enjoy every little new thing she does.  She's just getting too big, too fast!

Today's picture is of the best part of birthdays - the gifts, of course!!  Happy Birthday, Briana!!

Day Sixty-four - Not in Kansas Anymore

My house looks like a tornado went through it and I just don't feel like doing anything about it.  So I'm going to try clicking my heels together, in the hope that I will magically appear in a neat and clean house.  Yes! This sounds like a wonderful idea ;)

I almost forgot to take a picture today - yikes! It's a good thing Justin reminded me before it got too late!  So tonight is a picture of the boys in my life getting cozy on the couch :) Love them!!

Day Sixty-two - Showing Off Myself

After reading an article in a photography forum, I realized that it was time to get a photo where I am actually in it.  The basis of the article talked about how people use photography to capture all the special moments in their lives.  So wouldn't it be nice if you (the photographer) were actually captured in those special moments too?  I mean, I am a key part of my family too, so I should be represented!  Anyway - I'm going to try and remember to set up the tripod and get more images like this one, every once in a while!

Day Sixty - Sleeping Beauty

After a great trip to visit Nana and Papa, Briana was worn out!! She played hard in the garden all morning and passed out as soon as we got on the road :)

Day Fifty-Nine - Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is Justin's birthday, so we had to celebrate with ice cream cake!  Briana was right there to help blow the candles out!  Happy 29th, babe! One more year of youth left ;)

I think the cake was good, considering this next picture of Briana cleaning her plate with the very last bite...

Day Fifty-eight - OCD

There's no denying it.  My daughter inherited my OCD and it's already in full force.  She didn't want the letters on the magnetic chalkboard so she lined them all up along the edge.  In some weird way, I feel a sense of pride when these little behaviors come out -ha!

Day Fifty-Seven - Trend Setter

While I don't think wearing your sun glasses upside-down is a trend that will ever catch on, I do think that Briana looked super cute this morning wearing them that way :)  

Day Fifty-six - Great Camouflage!

This morning I was greeted with, what I thought was, a leaf stuck to our house. Upon further investigation, I realized it was some sort bug!! Nature's crazy! Ha!

Day Fifty-five - Mischievous Puppies

These dogs are unbelievable!  Yes, that is the neighbor's dog poking her head up under our fence!!  Justin's solution is to ignore it until they eventually dig deep enough to be able to go back and forth between yards.  Good grief!!

Day Fifty-four - Jenna, Mike, & Baby Bump!

I'm a day late posting, but I think I'll let it slide ;)

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to do a maternity shoot for my best friend!! I can't tell you how excited I am for Jenna and Mike, so being given the chance to do their maternity pictures was so special for me!  Thankfully the rain held out and I was able to capture some really great photos.  Isn't she gorgeous!? Ahhhhhh - I just love everything about this!!
