Day 171 - Sassy Pants!

We had our final Christmas tonight at Grandma and Papa's house.  The paparazzi came out when Briana dressed up in all of her new accessories! We are in so much trouble when she gets older!!

Yes, she's got her gloves, sunglasses, purse, pink iPhone and everything else a little Diva would need...

Day 170 - Next Patient, Please!

If anyone is in need of a shot or needs their temperature taken, this girl has you covered!  She is the cutest little doctor I've ever seen.  Her favorite thing to do is chase you around yelling "SHOT!!" and stabbing you with her blue syringe :)

Day 169 - Purses Everywhere

Briana received a ton of bags for Christmas so what did she do?  She decided they should all be displayed proudly in our kitchen!  

Day 168 - Princess, Princess!

I'm pretty sure Briana is good to go if she ever wants to run away and join the Princess clan of Disney.  She probably has enough stuff to jewel them all!! 

Day 166-167 - Christmas Fun

Day 166 - Christmas Eve
Santa came a day early in our house, since Daddy had to work on Christmas day.  When we got home from Raleigh, Santa had already made his appearance!

Day 167 - Christmas Day!

Since Santa came to our house yesterday, we were able to sleep in and just enjoy all the loot that Briana had aquired over the last few days :) 

Day 163-165 - Christmas in Raleigh

This year we went to Raleigh for a few days to celebrate Christmas with Justin's family.  

Day 163 - "Place holder" 
I took a picture on my phone of Briana, all dressed up in her princess dress up clothes; however, I got a new phone and all the pictures haven't been transferred yet.  So now you get to pretend that you are looking at a pretty princess...until I get the pictures off of my old phone ;)

Day 164 - Helper in the kitchen - Briana was right beside Nana and Great Grandma "helping" them cook all weekend.

However, she didn't let cooking stop her from reviewing the plans for the bed that Grandpa is building her ;)

Day 165 - Fun with Grandpa!

The best gift was this cash register that kept Briana and Great Grandpa entertained for quite a while...

  

Day 162 - Ready for Santa!

All the presents are wrapped and under the tree!! All that's left is for Santa to come and bring his gifts! We're ready Santa!

Day 161 - Playing Santa

Tonight I had way too much fun playing Santa Claus!  This is definitely one of the best parts of Christmas, but the best part will be seeing her face when she sees the dollhouse, all put together!  So exciting!!

Day 160 - Craftiness

I was able to break out my Mod Podge today!  I haven't crafted in quite a while so this was a little too much fun!

Day 159 - Surprise!

Briana was playing in the bathroom so I decided to jump in to surprise her! It was dark so there was major hand shake, but look at that face :)

Day 151 - 158 - Week Plus 1

Well, my posting habits have really gone down the drain recently.  I'm actually behind on EIGHT days, so here we go...

Day 151 - Christmas Card
Before we took our family Christmas card picture, Briana wanted to test her hand at Photographer.  Here is what she came out with.  Not too bad -ha!

Day 155 - Pretty Petals
My mom decided these flowers weren't safe in her house so I was tasked with taking them home and keeping them alive.  So far so good!

Most of my Christmas shopping is done and here is where all the wrapping magic happens!

Day 150 - Silent Tantrums

We have moved into a new phase of temper tantrums.  These are SOO much better than your typical tantrums because they are SILENT! Yes!! She gets upset and just pouts, lays down, and won't make eye contact - haha!  I should note that this particular tantrum was a result of a Timeout.  

I can't help myself.  Even when she's mad/sad I still think she's adorable ;)

I should also note that after the Timeout, she knew that I took a picture so she looked at my camera screen and said.  "Oh no Mommy!  Nana crying!" That took a little piece of my heart - ha.

Day 143 - Christmas Parade

This was the first year our family went to go see the Richmond Christmas Parade!  It was a gorgeous day and Briana really enjoyed it!

Next year we'll leave earlier and eat breakfast at home so we don't have to deal with lines wrapped around the restaurants, 20 mintutes before the parade kicks off.  Oops!  

Day 142 - Bathroom Facelift

We finally decided to throw some more paint up, in this house!! This time it was our downstairs bathroom.  Now I just need to find some decor for the walls!

Thanks to hubby, for getting that done today!

Day 141 - Oh Christmas Tree

No, we do not have two Christmas trees.  We just have one awesome tree that can switch from white lights to colored lights with the hit of a switch!!

I love this tree!!!

Day 140 - Same Old Stuff

Day 137 - Deck The Halls!

I'm thrilled to report that our house is completely decorated for Christmas, and it's only Nov 25!!  All that's left is the lights outside, but since that's Justin's job I'm not counting that against me ;) 

Briana loves all the decorations and I couldn't help myself!  I had to try to get a good picture of her in front of the tree.  Looks like we didn't do too shabby!!

Day 134 -136 - Thanksgiving Weekend

I'm getting very lazy with posting, but I haven't been forgetting to take my pictures!  This series of photos were taken over the long Thanksgiving weekend!

Day 135 - 

Black Friday!  I went out a 5am to get us a pretty new Christmas tree!! Good thing Briana was there to help me put it up that morning! Oh and we had Thanksgiving dinner again later in the day ;)

Day 136 - 

Saturday Football!  Although it's been a tough year for the Hokies, they managed to pull it off against UVA again this year....what is that, now?  NINE years in a row!! But who's counting? :)  Here's the cutest little Hokie of them all.  (oh and we had Thanksgiving Dinner #3 on this day!!)

Day 133 - Santa Before Turkey

This year we decided to get our visit with Santa done early!  So early that we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet :)  Briana did really well, surprisingly! She was a little hesitant, but eventually told Santa that she wanted "A pink one" for Christmas!  The burning question is - a pink what?  But we shall never know!  Santa responded "Well that makes it easy!" HA! She did so well :)

Day 131 & 132 - Silly Faces

There was an unexpected theme for these 2 days.  Day 131 was about Briana and 132 was about Daddy.  Both silly faces that I love :)

Day 124-130 - A Crazy Crazy Week

This is the time of year that is absolutely crazy at work.  So you have to forgive me for not posting anything for a week.  Here's my weekly round-up of randomness...

Day 124 - Cookie needs a haircut.

Day 125 - One of the many perks of having kids - Enjoying Animal Crackers!

Day 126 - Briana has been sick since Friday and I'm about to buy stock in this company.  We LOVE Boogie Wipes!

Day 127 - It got very late and I couldn't think of anything to take a picture of, so this is the last thing I saw before I shut my eyes.

Day 128 - Cut it close today and almost forgot to snap a picture!  I was actually in bed and at 11:11pm I realized I hadn't taken a picture yet so I ran back downstairs and grabbed this one.  I kinda like it -ha!

Day 129 - Ummmmm, nothing too see here. Just move along to day 130.  I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED A DAY!!! So mad at myself!!

Day 130 - Back on track and wrapping up the week with this smiling face.  (although this face has shown a lot more tears, than smiles lately)  Gotta love the terrible 2's!
